Bargain hunters may be tempted to trade in phones and sign up for an "unbeatable" new offer on the BlackBerry Curve 8520.
The deal, which was announced today (September 3rd 2010) by Virgin Media, gives those who sign up for it 50 minutes, 250 texts and free web and email usage - plus the handset for free - for £12 per month.
Further savings are available, as the service provider has said its existing home entertainment subscribers can get this deal for £2 per month cheaper than the headline price.
Holders of a valid NUS Extra card can get an extra 15 per off this price.
Director of mobile at Virgin Media Jonathan Kini described the offer as "unbeatable" and pointed out that the BlackBerry mobile phone is perfect for a wide range of consumers.
"[It is] popular with families, students and teens," he remarked.
Virgin Media also offers the BlackBerry Pearl 3G, although its website states it currently has no stock of the device.
