Nokia 5250 details unveiled
(26/08/2010 16:44:34)

Consumers may wish to recycle their mobile phone after details of Nokia's upcoming 5250 smartphone were published on the official Nokia blog.

The handset runs with the Symbian 1 operating system and comes with a raft of useful functions and features.

For example, it has 51MB of internal memory that can be expanded to 16GB with a microSD memory card.

This could be a good option for keen music fans, who are to be actively encouraged by Nokia to purchase this mobile phone.

According to the blog, the device features a music player on the home screen, and if users take advantage of the memory capacity it offers, they could store about 4,000 songs.

"The Nokia 5250 is a touchscreen, music-centric device aimed at anyone seeking a modern, multipurpose mobile," the blog stated.

Prospective buyers were also advised that the handset offers very good value for money.

This comes after Nokia reported that revenues from sales during the second quarter of 2010 were one per cent up on the previous year.
