Quad-core phones will be the next installment in the rise of the smartphone, and HTC will be the first to experiment with this ground-breaking new technology.
The HTC Edge will surpass the rest of the dual-core field with a jump straight to quad-core technology; and the handset’s vital statistics are impressive. The Edge will come packing a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 4.7-inch screen, eight-megapixel camera and be capable of taking 1080p high definition video. The Zeta is rumored to be equipped with a blazing 2.5GHz four-core chip, putting it on speed with the only quad-core mobile device out right now, the Asus Transformer Prime tablet.
Many consumers will be thinking 'sell my mobile' in the New Year, in preparation for the explosion of new technology which will be hitting the shelves in the coming months. HTC will be hoping to make a good start to 2012 and put the disappointing end to last year behind them
