Samsung’s hugely successful Galaxy Note, the smartphone-tablet hybrid, will now be made available in resplendent white, exclusively at John Lewis stores.

This beast of a device – with its 5.3 inch high-def Super AMOLED screen – is being touted by Samsung as being the future of smartphone technology: incorporating tablet-like features to a just-about-manageable smartphone format. Granted, the size of this device will not be to everyone’s taste (it’s more like a mini tablet if truth be told) but it certainly packs a techie punch, cramming in a super-fast processor and running Android 2.3.

You may be wondering; ‘why would I want to sell my mobile for this smartphone on steroids?’ which I suppose is a perfectly reasonable query, but Samsung insist that this giant is a unique addition to the Samsung family and is an innovation that you will struggle to find anywhere else.
