More people may be looking to recycle their mobile phone next month as they upgrade to a new Samsung Wave 723.
The smartphone, which is to make use of Samsung's Bada operating system, is to be launched throughout Europe in September, before being rolled out in south-east Asia, the Middle East and Africa shortly afterwards.
Pricing for the handset has yet to be confirmed but the Samsung Wave 723 has a host of attractive features to entice buyers, including WiFi, a five megapixel camera with autofocus and flash and access to the company's Social Hub.
JK Shin, president and head of Samsung Electronics' mobile communications business, said: "In new and innovative ways, the Wave 723 delivers on Samsung's goal to give a rich, connected smartphone experience to everyone."
The Samsung Social Hub works as an integrated message box collecting updates from email accounts, social networks, text messages and instant messages.
