Those lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the hotly-anticipated Sony Xperia Arc HD (formerly the Sony Ericsson ‘Nozomi’) will testify that the tantalizing images are succeeding in their mission to drum up much needed fervour surrounding the handsets release , as it looks set to be up against some stiff competition in the dash for our cash.
Leaked images of the new phone, perhaps rather oddly, focus on the handset’s camera; which no doubt is of supreme quality, but one has to wonder why the marketing team chose to parade such a mundane feature. It must be something pretty special to warrant such exposure.
The phone’s proposed spec has been up for debate for weeks now, with tech experts’ opinions ranging from run of the mill to mind-boggling. It is likely, however, that the Arc HD will include dual-core 1.5GHz processor and 1GB of RAM and 4.3-inch screen -- potentially displaying a retina-popping 720x1, 280-pixel high-definition resolution.
Sony Ericsson will be hoping these teasers will be enough to persuade the punters to think ‘sell my mobile phone’ and get set for the phone’s release.
