Well, there’s a whole host of new smartphones being launched but HTC have just upped the anti by revealing they’re about to launch a new Android smartphone with a TouchFlo 3D UI included. The launch is planned for the 24th June in the UK.

The TouchFlo 3D UI has been used successfully on Windows Mobile smartphones such as the Touch Diamond and the Touch Pro.

The rumours may or may not be true as it could be just the launch of the HTC Hero that is to be announced on 24th June - still, a smart smartphone running on Android 2.0 and with a TouchFlo 3D interface.

Certainly the TouchFlo 3D UI would give HTC a competitive advantage versus the G1 and the Magic Android mobile phones. It could speed up similar advances planned by Samsung with the TouchWiz and LG’s S-Class.
