UK based mobile Mfuse and sportingbet founder Mark Blandford has signed up with Aim-listed Probability to develop games and provide greater access to thousands of gamblers.
Probability has developed gambling software and 30 mobile games are already in place. Probability recently signed a deal with TV production company Fremantle to develop slot machine games for programmes such as X Factor. Probability took the opportunity to develop Mfuse's mobile gambling platform, which partners with many betting companies such as Sky bet, Sporting Index, Sportingbet etc.
Previously, mobile game developers faced huge delays on payments from online betting companies. However, Mfuse has come up with a formidable platform which enhances game developers activities by making payments to software developers more immediate, after the approval of the betting companies.
"The sports betting market is still growing fast and shows no sign of stopping. As a result, we know the appetite is there for mobile gaming products. Opening up our platform allows us to quickly implement the already successful mobile content to a wide customer base", said Marcus Wareham, director of Mfuse.
Despite the economic downturn and legal objections mobile gambling is bucking trends with the application of technology in the US. Indepenedent experts, Juniper Research estimates that the global mobile gaming industry will increase from £1billion in 2006 to £11.3 billion in 2011 through casinos, lotteries and sports betting.
