The new Nokia 6700, the successor to the 6300, is to be launched into UK Nokia stores on the 19th June and through other distribution channels the following week.
The new phone, to go on sale at £269, is to be made exclusively available at Nokia’s flagship store in Regent Street first as well as online at www.nokia.co.uk/shop where it can be pre-ordered.
The Nokia 6700 sports a 5-megapixel camera, A-GPS navigation with Nokia Maps and high speed data access. Users will be able to share images and videos on Ovi, Nokia’s service portal, as well as the likes of Flickr and Facebook.
Mark Loughran, Nokia UK’s Managing Director said, "The Nokia 6700 is set to be one of our biggest selling devices for 2009. It takes its style from our premium devices and incorporates expert functionality that will redefine what’s expected from a mid range device, making it a very worthy successor to the Nokia 6300."
