T-Mobile’s new addition to its smartphone range is the first with Internet with widgets. This allows users to choose their favourite websites and to be the first to receive information and news as it happens with up to the minute updates.
The MDA Compact V comes with integrated Sat Nav offering a week’s trial. T-Mobile will start a promotion on the 1st June offering 10,000 customers, who agree to take an 18-month contract, free CoPilot Sat Nav for the period of their contract.
This new smartphone has a 3.2-inch touchscreen and is based on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system (an update to 6.5 is due in September). Other notable features include an MP3 player, a media player that enables users to watch videos and a 5-megapixel camera.
The Head of Handset and Device Marketing at T-Mobile UK, Daniel Meredith said: "The T-Mobile MDA Compact V is a great addition to our ever-popular MDA range. It takes the web experience of the MDA portfolio to a new level with the introduction of Internet on your phone with widgets and is also the first MDA device to boast all the benefits offered by the very latest Microsoft Windows Mobile platform."
Available 21 May at T-Mobile stores and online, the phone is free on price plans of £50 per month.
