US carrier has laid out plans to sell a mobile data plan which takes the stress out of your travel plans.
Roaming data charges are the scourge of holiday-makers and international travellers everywhere as the cost of using your smartphone shoots up; so even small tasks such as checking your email means you can be hit with exorbitant charges.
The global package from Verizon offers 100MB of data for $25 per month which seems a tad steep, but if you offset this against the costs likely to be incurred when using your smartphone abroad; this deal from Verizon all of a sudden becomes a bit of a steal.
If you creep over your allotted global data allowance, Verizon will then send you a text message to alert you that another 100MB has been added and another $25 will appear on your monthly bill.
