Apple is considering developing a new search engine for its iPhone. Using Google as its search engine since its inception, the iPhone has been the most popular device amongst mobile enthusiasts across the world satisfying their expectations over the years.
But Apple has feared a possible threat from Google since it made an appearance in the mobile phone market as a competitor. It has anticipated that the search engine is likely to use the iPhone's user data to produce its own unique applications, which will certainly not favour the iPhone.
Realising the value and significance of the data and information that includes a wide range of services to common searched terms used in iPhone applications, Apple is now desperate to stop Google from accessing information from iPhone users. The deal in applications, that involves a huge bid amount, will allow Google to gather more information from the iPhone apps, if approved.
Interestingly, Apple has incorporated the Google search engine in the latest iPad although it may take several years to develop Apple's own search products due to the lack of expertise.
